Some random thoughts... I am a observer and a reporter of life around me. Just because I do not write, that does not mean that nothing is going on. In such moments I am in deep thought.

I'm back.....
I take great displeasure in the phrase “after a long hiatus”. People know that you have not been on the radar for some time, and you really don't have to remind them that you were not around. Hello—newsflash: we know. We log in, read and move on. Life still goes on—just as long as the internet is up and running.
We all have an attention span that is possibly gauged in to a window no more than 30 seconds. Yet, how is it that we can focus on multi-tasking? I would like to meet the person who taught the world that you can get more done by juggling all two of your hands. As “huh” as that sounds, the theory behind it is even more questionable. Then again, old is the new “new”, and confusion is the new way of getting people to think. I am assuming that thinking is still an art that is just not too lost—like some of the people I know.
I am not here to complain—just to blog. Read it, comment on it, and give me the feedback I so deserve. The blogging process is a global deal that we would have killed for many years ago. Ok, that is sounding a little too much. Then again, so too is advertising. I hope you were not lost after 30 seconds.

"I have great news...."
Waiting in anticipation. This is what happens when someone calls you and tells you "I have great news. See me tomorrow". As a result, the next 20 some odd hours go by rather slow, as you pace back and forth in your mind of just what could be so exciting. Well, when life has been rather rock bottom, it almost seems that any news is good news. What I am subconsciously searching for is GREAT news. Maybe this will be the tipping point to where a new road is formed as an old one finally ends. This is the bend in the road that I have been searching for, although the only idea I have of it is that it just might be the start of something new and exciting.
I know that the naysayers would tell me not to count all the eggs until they have hatched. Why is it that there is always someone out there that thrives on pissing on your parade—and have the audacity to tell you that it is raining warm? As the winds always blow in the direction you least expect, we hope their warm rain can comfort them, while nothing and no one can steal the sunshine and thunder of the moment.
I can say that until I actually know more about the news, that such news is something that has a way of changing and shaping my thinking. As I am here typing all this, many thoughts of great things are happening in my head. I mean, great things to come, not just a brand new car, more money and a new life that gives greater purpose of being part of something bigger than previously imagined.
Here's to a new tomorrow and a great future. It's time to own it. It has been a long time coming, but it's all about time. It is about time.
